The human body was affected by various zodiacal influences matched from the sign to a specific part of the body. This is clearly important in medieval medicine because physicians had to tailor their "cures" to the zodiacal signs and their influences.
In the figure above, you can see that -- for example -- that Libra influences the belly and Aries affects the head.
